Deborah Moseley Tribute

Deborah Ann Moseley unexpectedly entered into rest at Griffin hospital on October 11, 2021 with her family and friends by her side.

Debbie was the daughter of the late George S. Benning and Helen E. Woods Benning. She was predeceased by her younger brother George S. Benning, Jr and her beloved companion and best friend her dog Venus.

Debbie is survived by her daughter Tammy Benning Thompson and her husband William Thompson, Jr, her grandchildren Gwendolynn Lois Benning-Chonko and William Wesley Thompson as well as many friends and extended family who she loved dearly.

Debbie attended Masuk High School in Monroe, Connecticut. She was a hard worker and worked at Young Industries, Ethan Allen, Anodic and The Holy Sisters of Nazareth just to name a few.

Debbie loved animals. She saved any fur baby that she could including her beautiful little Venus.

Debbie had a great sense of humor and enjoyed pranking those closest to her. She loved to build furniture and grow her own vegetables and herbs. Everything had a purpose. She could never pass up a good scratch off ticket either. She was a talented hobby artist and could talk your ear off about politics; she was an avid Trump supporter. She wasn't afraid to give you her opinion and prided herself on her ability to do so.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
