Rita Louise Bell

Rita Bell passed away October 13, 2021 at Yale New Haven Hospital surrounded by family. She raised her children in South Meriden, CT and spent most of her life in the Meriden/ Wallingford area. She touched many lives with her big heart and personality.

Rita has joined her daughter Kelly in Heaven and her memory will forever live on in the loved ones she has left. She is the beloved daughter of Dorothea Brown and Earl Bell. She is the beloved mother to Kevin Black, Kasey Black and Krystal Holliday and grandmother to several grandchildren.

Rita would not want us to mourn her but rather rejoice in her memory, live each day like it's our last and hold on a little tighter to the loved ones around us.

Services to be held at a future date and will be announced in the Meriden Record-Journal at that time.
