Robert "Bob" Joseph Kiley

Robert "Bob" Joseph Kiley, 66, of Milford, CT, passed away on September 5, 2022 at Bridgeport Hospital after battling an extended illness.

Bob was born on March 19, 1956 in Boston, MA during the blizzard of '56. In 1957 the family moved to Ridgefield, CT where he spent his formative years. Bob graduated from Ridgefield High School in 1974, after which, he attended Central Connecticut State College. 

Bob began his professional career in sales, working for both Raichle Molitor and later Asics Tiger. For the past 20 years, Bob worked in the self -storage industry managing Hacienda Storage and other properties in Milford, CT. 

Outside of work, Bob enjoyed spending time with his extended family, fishing and following fishing reports, and golfing or riding around in a golf cart encouraging others. He loved growing tomatoes and seeing other's harvests, playing with pets, and seeing photos and videos of his friends and families' pets. Though Bob had no children of his own, he was a loving uncle and an 'adopted uncle' to many.

Bob was an active member of the Milford Chamber of Commerce helping to plan golf outings and serving on the Scholarship Selection Board.

He is predeceased by his parents William "Bill" Kiley and Margaret "Peg" (Bohan) Kiley. He is survived by his four siblings Susan (Jerry) Hric of Windsor, CO, Cathy (Steve) Rothweiler of Boulder, CO, David (Kathe) Kiley of Danbury, CT and Timothy (Rhonda) Kiley of New Bern, NC. In addition, he is the beloved 'Uncle Bobby' to nine nieces and nephews and five great nieces and nephews who he affectionately referred to as 'the knuckleheads'. 

A memorial service will be held in his honor on Monday, September 19, 2022, at 11 AM with luncheon to follow at Anthony's Lake Club, 10 Christopher Columbus Ave., Danbury, CT 06810.
