Thomas P. McMahon, 85, formerly of Stamford, CT passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Masonicare Health Center.
Thom was born in Stamford on July 25, 1936, the son of the late John J. and Mary A. McMahon. He is a veteran of the US Navy. Thom worked for several years at the Stamford Advocate as a pressman followed by City News. He later became a union representative for the pressmen's union in New York City. Thom became involved in sales with Digital Equipment Corporation which led him with his family to move to Nashua, New Hampshire. After his retirement he resided in Hamden, Connecticut.
Thom is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years MaryGrace Ferro McMahon, their four children Dennis (Maribeth), Robert (Cathy), Susan (Frank) and Shannon. His five grandchildren, Frank (FT), Shane, Collin, Arianna and Katielynne Bevino; also survived by his brother Brian and brother-in-law Angelo Bonvenuto. He was predeceased by his brother James, sister Alice McMahon Bonvenuto, sister-in-law Anita McMahon and his granddaughter Meaghan Nicole McMahon.
We know in our hearts that our father is "simply divine" resting in peace. Funeral services will be private.
