He served eight years as a field wireman in the Armed Forces; he retired from Electric Boat in 1995. He loved to fish, to watch late night wrestling, and to tinker in his workshop. He was a man of many jokes and silly sayings that brought joy to our lives.

He is also survived by his brother Clyde Patten; sister Arlene Kramer, a.k.a. Maude; sister Carol Hill; two granddaughters; 15 step-grandchildren; and 11 step-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his mother Althea Patten, his father Merton Patten, his brother Lewis Patten, and his brother Eugene Patten.

We want to inform our friends and family that there will be no services of any kind according to Pat’s wishes. He will be missed by us all (his wife says “love you honey”). Condolences of any kind can be sent to 6 Woods Ln., Clinton, CT 06413.
