Anna Guerra Farrell, 88, of Northford passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at her home with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late John Farrell.
Anna was born in Ospedaletto, D'Alpinolo (AV), Italy on April 1st, 1937, and was the daughter of the late Clemente and Maria Savignano Guerra. She worked as a Nurse's Aide at Parkview Convalescent Home in New Haven for many years and later as a Nurse's Aide for Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford for 25 years until her retirement. Anna loved gardening and enjoyed tending to her flowers and vegetables, canning, crocheting and knitting, but most of all she truly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandson who she loved unconditionally.
Mother of James (Andrea) Farrell and Roseann Thody. Beloved grandmother of Lauren Farrell, Christopher (Elizabeth) Farrell and Steven (Anna) Thody. Loving great-grandmother of Christopher James Farrell, Jr. Sister of Pina Caliendo and the late Amata, Giovanni and Antonio Guerra. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to go directly to St. Ambrose Parish at St. Monica's Church, 1331 Middletown Avenue, Northford on Saturday morning, January 24th to attend a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. and are also invited to attend committal services immediately following in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, has been entrusted with arrangements.
