Dana Allen McKenney, Sr.

Dana Allen McKenney Sr., 46, passed away unexpectedly on June 3, 2023.

Dana was born on October 8, 1976, to the late Jacqueline Syrotchen McKenney (Wilfred Jr) and Robert Lockhart in Waterbury, Connecticut. He attended Wolcott HS. He then worked doing various jobs as a property manager.

Dana enjoyed his family and friends, especially his best friend, Dave DeLorenzo - who he'd see often at Carmine's. He also loved spending time with his children. 

Dana is preceded in death by his parents, as well as his beloved stepdad, Wilfred McKenney Jr., and son, Harley McKenney.

He is survived by his fiancé, Cheryl Booth; his sons, Dana McKenney Jr, Samuel McKenney, Alex McKenney, Michael McKenney, Hunter McKenney, Jacob McKenney, and Benjamin; daughters, Mary Carmone, Payton, Tabitha, Leah McKenney, and Alexis McKenney; grandsons, Jasper McKenney, Luke, and Jacob; granddaughter, Savannah; sisters, Lisa Lockhart, Jacqueline Froliger (Eric), Carol Parks (Stephen); and brothers, Wilfred McKenney III (Doryann), Dwight McKenney (Stacy), Robert McKenney (Loretta), and Dean McKenney (Sandra).

The Cremation Society of New England is honored to have been entrusted with Dana’s care and final arrangements.
