Southbury, CT resident David Townley Eady, age 65, was born August 5, 1959 and died May 27, 2025 in his home of natural causes.
David was a retired United States Navy veteran and a licensed pilot. He enjoyed sharing personal experiences, cooking, fishing, tinkering with computers, and spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his parents William Eady and Cynthia Booth and sister Deirdre (David) Broderick. He is survived by his sisters Daryl (David) Eady and Dale (Eugene) Bloxsom; children Ryan (April) Eady and Kathryn (Charles) Neal; grandchildren Kinleigh and Kenneth Eady and Charlie, Aureanna and Cameron Neal; and several nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.
Anyone close to David can attest that he was a strong-willed man who stuck to his beliefs. He was also a caring man who would do anything for his friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the advancement of aviation, preservation of the Southbury Russian Village or other charity of choice.
A private gathering for friends and family will be held and information will be provided at a later date.
