Donna Jean (Brown) Howell

Donna Jean (Brown) Howell of Seymour, CT was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world suddenly on March 29, 2022 at age 77.

She was born to the late Charles Vernon Brown and Evelyn (Ash) Brown on December 29, 1944.  After graduating from Stamford High School in 1962, Donna became a dental assistant.  She met her husband, Bobby Howell. Together, they had three children: Barbara Howell-Lepri (Christopher), Charles Howell, and Jennifer Quinlan (Daniel).  She is survived by her children, grandchildren Emily and Sarah Quinlan, along with multiple foster grandchildren over the years. She is also survived by her three sisters, Joan Colley of Goshen, CT; Susann Quinn of Beacon Falls, CT; and Leisa Collins of Robert Lee, Texas.

Donna was a very loving, kind and friendly person with the best laugh. She loved spending time with her family and friends, volunteering with her church, singing, and dancing.

A funeral service is scheduled for 10 am on April 9, 2022 at the Christ Episcopal Church located at 56 So. Cliff St. in Ansonia, CT.  A reception is to follow at Immanuel Lutheran Church at 25 Great Hill Rd. in Oxford, CT at 11:30 am.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to Donna’s church, Christ Episcopal Church, or a charity of your choice on her behalf.
