Edward William DePino

WALLINGFORD - Edward William DePino, 74, of Wallingford, passed away on Monday September 18, 2023 at Yale New Haven Hospital. 

Edward served in Vietnam for the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1975. After serving, he was
employed by Mossberg and CT Transit as a driver. He also opened up his own hobby shop in West Haven.

Edward was predeceased by his parents Peter and Mary (Tabone) DePino, his son
Edward W. DePino Jr., and his brother Peter S. DePino. He is survived by his brother Ronald (Brenda) DePino, sister Geraldine (James) Rowland, daughter-in-law Melissa DePino, grandchildren Tyler and Breana DePino, and his former wife Shirley Savarese-DePino. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Thursday September 28, 2023 at 10am at the CT State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, CT. Anyone who wishes to attend is asked to gather directly at the cemetery just prior to the start of the service.  There will be no calling hours.
