Ellen M. Klein

Ellen Mary Klein of New Milford, CT passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025, after a brief illness at the age of 98.

Ellen (Helen) was born in Tralee, Co. Kerry, Ireland in 1926 to John Barrett and Johanna (Hogan) Barrett. Ellen was the youngest of eight sisters.

Ellen came to America in the early '50s. It was in Waterbury where she met her loving and devoted husband of 62 years, Leslie Klein. They settled in New Milford, CT in 1965.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her son, Robert Klein, her daughter, Judy Brown and her husband David. Grandchildren, Tyler Brown (Kyla), Eric Brown (Aly) and Casey Brown. Great grandchildren Jasmyne, Bentley, Wylder and Westley. Ellen also leaves behind a tremendous number of relatives in Ireland, England and Canada, many would visit over the years, write and call. She cherished these moments.

She was a great Wife, Mom and Nanny, and lived a good but simple life. She will be deeply missed.

A private service will be held to honor Ellen's life.
