Gary J. Albanese, Sr.

Gary Albanese Sr., age 82, passed away on Sunday, January 28th, 2024, to be with his beloved wife, Noreen. Inseparable for over 58 years, they are finally together again.

Gary was born April 29th, 1941, to the late Esther (Hofmann) and Albert Albanese in Cromwell, Connecticut. He is survived by his four children, Gary Albanese Jr. and his wife, Tracy, son, Tony Albanese and his wife, Kelly, daughter, Michele Albanese, daughter, Sharon Donsbough and her husband, David, eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Albert Albanese. In addition to his parents, Gary was predeceased by his sister, Esther Satagaj, and brother, Charles Albanese.

In 1982, Gary Sr., Gary Jr., and Tony decided to go into a partnership to work together, paving as a family. Up until his last days, Gary Sr. worked alongside his sons offering invaluable lessons from his own experiences. Together, they treated each job as if it was their own. When he wasn't working with his sons, he enjoyed time with his whole family, especially gardening, farming, and walking the beach or trails.

Gary's immediate family will be having an intimate burial service. A celebration of life will be held for him this spring.
