Glenn Bell Tribute

Glenn Roger Bell, 77, of Milford, CT, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer.  He was the beloved husband of Deborah Haines Bell for 51 years and the loving father to Jason Bell (Irina Anguelova) and Lori Bell Ginelewicz (Steven Ginelewicz).

Glenn was born in Hartford, CT, on October 11, 1945 and was the son of the late Joseph and Alyce Bell, and brother of the late Ronald Bell and late Marge Mages. Glenn was also predeceased by his caring in-laws, William and Lillian Haines. Glenn grew up in Fairfield, CT and Old Saybrook, CT.

Glenn served in the U.S. Army Reserves, memorably playing Trumpet in the Army band for Lyndon B Johnson. Glenn worked as Vice President of Advertising at Remington Products and Franzus Travel Company.

Glenn loved watching and playing golf, keeping his car shiny, the New England Patriots, UCONN Basketball, and traveling with his wife and family on beach vacations. He was best known for his dry sense of humor. His greatest joy was being with his family, especially his grandchildren; Alexander, Evelyn, Brady and Kyle.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday April 1, 2023 at 11am at Greenfield Hill Congregational Church in Fairfield, CT. The Cremation Society of New England is honored to have been entrusted with Glenn's care and final arrangements.
