Jason John Anzellotti

Jason J. Anzellotti, age 40, of Beverly Hills, Fla., passed away unexpectedly on August 31. He was born October 21, 1979, in Waterbury to Susan Campbell, currently of Ocala, Fla., and Kevin Anzellotti and (stepmother) Barbara Anzellotti, of Southbury.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa Anzellotti, and his three children, Jayson Curtis, Brianna Anzellotti, and Nicholas Anzellotti, all residing in Florida. His siblings include Jessica Anzellotti of Southbury, Lauren Murphy of Mt Dora, Fla., and Michael Carney of Citrus Springs, Fla. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Rudolph Anzellotti and Patricia Anzellotti, of Southbury, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He grew up in Sandy Hook and attended Newtown schools. He had a hobby of fixing up dirt bikes and enjoyed working with his hands and was a mason by trade. He had a great bond with his grandma (Pat) and especially loved her Italian cookies so much that his wife Melissa learned how to make them with her recipe.

He was a kind soul with a tender heart and he had a deep love for his family. Jason was loved and will be deeply missed by his entire family and friends. Services will be private at the family’s discretion.
