Jo Ann Perkins

WOLCOTT – Jo Ann Perkins, 60, of Wolcott, passed away peacefully on Sept. 10, 2021, at Saint Mary’s Hospital.

Jo Ann was born Sept. 17, 1960 in Waterbury, to the late Frederick Robert Perkins and Josephine (Bronson) Perkins, also of Wolcott. She was a 1978 graduate of Wolcott High School and worked at various jobs throughout her life. Most recently she was employed by the VNA.

She loved animals and enjoyed crocheting. However, she treasured spending time with her family and the children of friends whom she adored.

Besides her mother, Jo Ann also leaves behind her son, Joseph Perkins of San Diego, of whom she was extremely proud; her brothers, Richard (Gisele) and William Perkins of Wolcott; her nephews, Frederick Perkins III and Brian Perkins, and her niece Cynthia Wilcox; as well as a large extended family and an abundance of friends.

She was predeceased by her brother, Frederick Perkins II.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services.
