John Anthony Mele
Obituary
John A. Mele 59 of Moosup, Connecticut passed away on January 28, 2023 at Salmon Brook Rehab and Nursing Center in Glastonbury, Connecticut.
He was born September 9, 1963 in Worcester, Massachusetts. John was a proud veteran as he was in the Marines and the National Guard. He was a member of the Plainfield American Legion and Brooklyn Am Vets and a pool league. He enjoyed playing pool and riding his motorcycle.
John is survived by his mother Carol (Mele) LeFort, his stepmother Marylin Mele, three siblings Anne Adams, Leonard Mele, and David Mele, four children, five grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Leonard Mele Sr. and his stepfather Thaddeus LeFort.
There will be a celebration of life held on February 18, 2023 from 1 PM to 5 PM at the Plainfield VFW located at 7 Winsor Ave, Plainfield, CT 06374.
