Joseph "Joe Fish" Criscuolo, 91, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 11th, 2021 at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Born on March 19th, 1929 in New Haven, Connecticut he was the son of the late Alfonso and Giovannina "Jennie" Criscuolo. He had resided in Port Charlotte, Florida for 22 years before moving back to East Haven, Connecticut. Joe Fish was a truck driver for many years with the 443 Teamster Union and enjoyed riding his motorcycle with the Elm City Motorcycle Club, playing guitar in the George Anthony Trio, the band Just Friends and with his longtime friend Joe Tinari, and was an avid bowler.
He is survived by his wife Mary Rocco Criscuolo and his two sons Joseph Jr. and Gabriel and seven grandchildren, Gabriel Jr. and wife Elizabeth, Alicia, Melaina, Joseph III, Anthony, Ryan, and Alexa and great-grandchild, Dominic and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by brothers; Louis, Peter, Andrew, Jimmy, Frankie, Alphonse, Mario, and sister, Jennie LeVie.
A celebration of his life will be arranged at a later date.
