Joseph G. Giannetti

Following a lengthy battle with cancer, Joseph G. Giannetti of Middletown, CT, passed away on May 23,2022 at the age of 86 years old.

Joseph will be cherished in the hearts of his daughter, Kimberly of Middletown CT; and his sons, Christopher (Renee) of Averill Park NY and Joel (Kim) of New Buffalo Michigan. Joseph also leaves behind his five grandchildren, Justin, Nicholas, Hunter, Emmett, Sophia; and his great-grandson Ashton. In addition, Joseph leaves behind his brother, Robert (Deborah) and partner, Barbara Rogers; as well as many caring relatives and friends who meant so much to him.

Joseph was predeceased by his loving wife, Anna (Mazza), of 58 years. He was the son of Joseph Giannetti and Mary (Gilletti); as well as the stepson of Ceneria "Sophie" (Cappello).

Joseph was a successful business owner of Connecticut Office Supply in Meriden CT, Falcon Express in Middletown , CT, and Imperial Stationers in New Haven, CT. After retiring, Joseph enjoyed traveling the world with his wife, manicuring his yard, hunting with his beloved dog, Penny, and most importantly, family time with his children and grandchildren. He was an active member of the Y's Men of Meriden, the Middletown Elk's and the New Haven Raccoon Club.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at the First Baptist Church on 460 Broad Street in Meriden, CT. The service will be held at 10:00am. Doors will be open at 9:00am for those who would like to pay their respects.
