LeRoy James DeGraw

LeRoy James DeGraw, born May 8, 1944 in Littleport Iowa, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024, surrounded by his family.

LeRoy spent his early years and college in Iowa, before moving to Southern California, where he started his own sales representative company. After retiring he unknowingly found a new passion in his life and became the sales manager at two prominent Harley-Davidson dealerships. Later in life, he relocated to Connecticut to be near his son Eric, daughter-in-law Sheri, and grandchildren Matt, Tim, and Sara. It was a highlight of his life to watch Eric coach his kids in all of their sports as he coached Eric growing up. A dedicated motorcycle enthusiast, LeRoy rode with friends and family on many trips across the United States. He enjoyed pickleball, playing pinochle with his Chatfield Farm friends, and indulging in See's Candy and chocolate turtles.

LeRoy is survived by his wife of 60 years, Pat DeGraw, his son Eric, daughter-in-law Sheri, and grandchildren, Matt, Tim, and Sara. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed.

A celebration of LeRoy's life will take place on Sunday, December 15, 2024, from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at the Chatfield Farms clubhouse, 43 Fieldstone Lane, Beacon Falls, CT.
