Mrs. Louise (Lisiecki) Wesolowski died on Friday, September 18, 2020 in Suffield, Connecticut. Prior to her move to Suffield in 2016, she was a life-long resident of Bristol Connecticut.
Mrs. Wesolowski was born on August 4, 1928 to Mr. Joseph John Lisiecki and Mrs. Josephine Mary (Porowski) Lisiecki. She graduated from Bristol High School in 1945. She graduated from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science in 1949. She majored in Biology and minored in Russian.
After graduation, Mrs. Wesolowski worked in the Pathology Lab at Hartford Hospital for several years. One of her colleagues set her up on a blind date with his brother, Dr. Vincent T. Wesolowski. They were married at St. Stanislaus Church in Bristol on June 21, 1952.
While her children were growing up, Mrs. Wesolowski was active in civic organizations. Later, she taught biology at Bristol Central High School for 17 years as well as tutoring children whose first language was Polish. Mrs. Wesolowski loved bridge, Scrabble, and crossword puzzles.
She leaves behind daughter and son-in-law Paula Michaels and Clyde Smith (Paul and Masha Smith); son and daughter-in-law David and Eileen Wesolowski (Megan and Kyle Wesolowski); and son and daughter-in-law Gregg and Susan Wesolowski (Michael and Jason Wesolowski). She was predeceased by her husband, parents, and sister, Mrs. Helen Obadowski.
Louise's family would like to thank the staff of Suffield by the River, River's Watch, The Suffield House and Masonic Care for the wonderful care given to Louise. Services and interment will be privately held.
