Lynn Marie Ramsdell

Lynn Marie Ramsdell, 65, of Newtown, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2024 surrounded by her family. For many years, Lynn quietly battled multiple sclerosis (MS) and ultimately lost her battle due to recent complications with cancer.

Lynn was born in Freeport, Long Island, N.Y., to Gerard and Jean Otton. She moved to Newtown when she was 2 years old, was a graduate of Newtown High School, and worked as a Regional Manager for Wheels gas station for nearly 40 years.

Lynn was predeceased by her parents, Gerard and Jean Otton.

She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Tom Ramsdell III; her children, Tom Ramsdell IV (Trisha Ramsdell) and Trina Clark (Shaylor Clark); her brothers Tom Otton (Ann Otton), Ken Otton (Judi Otton), Doug Otton, and Dan Otton (Kim Otton); and her grandchildren, Tommy Ramsdell V, Evie Ramsdell, Braylon Clark, and Jaxson Clark.

Lynn loved animals and greatly enjoyed playing ball and taking car rides with her dog Holly. Lynn also enjoyed tending to her plants and reading books, but her favorite hobby was creating special memories and spoiling her grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to Patient Access Network (PAN) Foundation, so they may continue to support those suffering with their illness.
