Lynne Devino Tribute

Lynne Devino, 74, devoted wife and mother and a long time resident of Waterbury, CT, passed away on February 19, 2023, after a long illness.

Lynne was born February 10, 1949, in Nashville, TN, and traveled the country extensively in her youth with her parents and siblings. After settling in CT, she married Paul Devino on March 29, 1969. They raised two sons, Michael and Christian, and one daughter, Alyssah, whom she always called her "heartbeat." Her family meant the world to her. Lynne loved horses and cats, dancing and hugs, and was known for her baking and jewelry making. In 1973, she was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. She loved her heavenly father and her congregation very much and always perked up when listening to the Kingdom Melodies, especially her favorite song, "God's Loyal Love." She treasured her faith and the hope of a paradise soon to come here on earth, without pain, suffering, or death (Revelation 21:3,4).

Lynne was predeceased in death by her parents, Daniel and Judy Rhees. She is survived by her husband Paul, her three children Michael (Kyle) Devino of Kansas City, MO; Alyssah (Bryan) Moran of Wallingford, CT; Christian Devino of Waterbury, CT; her sister, Leigh (Lester) Morris of Cameron, MO; her brother, Danny Rhees of Omaha, NE; and several beloved cousins and nephews.

A memorial talk will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2670 N Main St, Waterbury, CT 06704 on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 3:00PM with the option of also attending via Zoom. Please contact the family for Zoom information.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on www.jw.org or to the Alzheimer's Association. The Cremation Society of New England is honored to have been entrusted with Lynne's care and final arrangements.
