Marilyn Christo

Marilyn Christo, 91, of New London, CT, died on April 20, 2020 at the New London Rehabilitation and Care Center in Waterford, CT . She died of the covid-19 virus. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Christo.

She was born on January 28, 1929 in New London, CT a daughter of the late Cecil and Anna McLaughlin Turner. She had a sister Elizabeth DiMaggio, John Turner, and is survived by Gerard Turner, her brother.

Prior to her retirement, she had worked as an administrative supervisor at Supply dept. of the U.S. Naval Base in Groton, CT. Before that she worked in the showroom sales dept of Jaeger Inc. exclusive british sportswear. She lived in N.Y.C. for many years. She was a graduate of Williams Memorial Institute.

She is survived by a daughter, Hilary Christo Averso and son-in -law Barry Averso. She is also survived by her grandchildren. Brett Anthony, Jacques Laurence and Anabel Maria. She also has a great grandaughter, Olivia. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
