Michael Christopher Davis

Michael Christopher Davis, 59, beloved Brother, was called to his eternal resting place on March 29, 2022. He entered this world on October 7, 1962 in Odessa, TX, born to Yommie and Gloria Davis.

Michael was an Alter Boy and made his Sacraments at St. James Church. He was a graduate of Stratford High School, where he was a member of both the football and swim teams. Michael had a brilliant mind for politics and math, and also greatly enjoyed traveling, skiing, and music. Cooking was furthermore one of Michael’s passions. Michael was also very active in his community of New Haven, CT, and was awarded several certificates for his influence and work.

Michael is predeceased by his father, Yommie L. Davis, and by his mother, Gloria Davis-Allen. He is also predeceased by his uncle, Jerry Allen.

He is survived by his four brothers, Yommie Davis (and wife Theresa), Keith Davis (and husband Armand), Jeffrey Davis (and wife Johanna), and Brian Davis; his beloved nieces and nephews, Victoria, Sioban, Peter, Cole, Sam, and Jerrod; and cherished cousins, Stephanie Allen Gowin (and husband Steven), Jerilyn Allen Bailey (and husband Ron), Bronwyn Allen Kaeser (and husband Matthias), Jody Lynn Allen Keitt (and husband Anthony); his aunt Kordella Allen Jolivet; and uncles, James Allen and Calvin Allen. Michael came from a large extended family from Virginia, North Carolina, and Georgia.

Michael truly believed in Family, Forgiveness, Hope, and Love. He lived his life to the fullest, with no regrets. His family will carry Michael dearly in their hearts, as his flame will burn brighter than ever.
