Miriam Elaine Roberts, 62, of New Britain CT, passed away suddenly on September 8, 2025. She was born in Lancaster, SC on December 18, 1962, to Joyce L Roberts and the late John A Roberts. Miriam leaves to mourn her mother Joyce Roberts, her beloved five children, Ciera Watkins, John C Roberts, Kimberly Barron, Sabrina Harris and James Roberts; and three grandchildren, Kyereek Watkins, Jernia Muños and Jazier Muños. She also leaves her brother, Benjamin Roberts (Denise) her sisters Deborah Roberts and Shalisha Roberts as well as four aunts, Frances Cauther, Allison Green, Shirley Green and Sallie Roberts and a host of many relatives and friends.
Miriam’s greatest love was for her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Miriam was a kindhearted person and knew how to make people feel comfortable. Because of her love for people, she worked as a home-health aide and a Caregiver for about 25 years in Meriden. Miriam attended Windsor High School and enjoyed playing the Clarinet and the Tenor Saxophone. Over the years, Miriam enjoyed studying the Bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Miriam will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 2pm, at the Wolcott Youth Center, 48 Todd Road, Wolcott, CT 06716. Burial will be private.
