Nancy Tritten, age 77, of Stamford CT passed away peacefully on April 25th, 2021 after a three year battle with ovarian cancer.
Nancy was born in Rochester, MN to the late Vernen and Muriel (Sjoquist) Tritten. She was also predeceased by her brother, David Tritten. Nancy is survived by her son Christopher of Brookfield, CT; two sisters, Bette (Tom) Sturges of New York City, NY, and Marie Amerson of Port Townsend, WA; sister-in-law Marlys Tritten of Eyota, MN; several nieces and nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Nancy was a graduate of John Marshall High School in Rochester, and the University of Minnesota. She worked in data processing at various companies throughout her life, including Thomson Reuters, U.S. Trust, and Time Warner. She loved gardening, exercising at the Tully Center, having lunch with friends, and going to the movies. Her son would like to thank the Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale New Haven Hospital for their tireless dedication to her care after her cancer diagnosis.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a memorial celebrating her life will be held later on this year.
