Paul Gene Heroux, 83, of Oakville, CT, was born February 8, 1942, in Waterbury, CT, and passed on December 30, 2025. Guided by faith throughout his life, Paul entered eternal peace. He was the son of the late Origene and Mary (LeMay) Heroux.
He is survived by his son, Gene Heroux, and his wife, Dawn, of Oakville; grandsons, Timothy and Robert Heroux; and daughters, Jennifer of Waterbury and Amy Heroux of Canada. Grandchildren, Breanna, Nathan Jr., and Spencer Read of Arizona and Gene Roman of California; his brother, Richard Heroux, and wife, Marie, of North Carolina; his sister, Diane Carrier, and her husband, Charles, of Maine; and many nieces and nephews. His daughter, Lisa Heroux Read, predeceased him.
Professionally, Paul was a realtor. He was involved in his community, volunteering at Carolyn's Place in Waterbury, the local soup kitchen, and St. John's Church in Watertown.
He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus.
The family would like to thank Angela Frenette for her devoted care and kindness provided to Paul in his final years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, in Watertown. Interment will be at the family's convenience. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Carolyn's Place, in Waterbury, CT.
