Paul F, Snedeker

Paul Francis Snedeker, 75, passed away after a brief illness at MidState Medical Center, on Saturday, May 29, 2021. Mr. Snedeker was born in New Haven, son of the late Paul E. Snedeker, and Dorothy Zaler (Stevens).

Paul grew up in Wallingford, and had fond memories of those days. He had a deep love of cars and trucks having restored several in his lifetime.

He was employed at Smiths Transfer in Wallingford prior to that company relocating, as a diesel mechanic.

Paul leaves behind a son, Paul M. Snedeker, a daughter, Melanie Snedeker, and a son, Shane Snedeker. He also leaves three grandchildren, Hailey Snedeker, David and Jacob Goncalves. He also leaves his former wife, Mary Snedeker. He leaves behind several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Paul cherished the years he spent watching his niece, Shelley Sirois Hedges, and her brother Rick Sirois, grow up along with his own children. One treat he really enjoyed was spending time, back in the day, with his former father-in-law. It wasn't a day if they didn't share their coffee and chat.

The family would like to thank the staff, nurses and doctors at MidState Pavillon C & D for the great care Paul received as a patient there. It was greatly appreciated.

Our family also would like to thank his two neighbors who were with him whenever he needed them. Thank you for your love and kindness.
