Bobby passed away suddenly at age 71, surrounded by his family. He was one of three children and is survived by his two brothers, Charles and Clifford Hahn, his wife, April Walters, and many nephews and nieces, especially the youngest and his favorite member of the family, Tyler “Big T” (son of stepdaughter Christy Gozzi and son-in-law Mike Braun). Bob was predeceased by his parents Clifford and Mary Hahn of East Haven who loved him deeply.
For those who were fortunate to have Bobby in their lives, he was a beacon of kindness and a gentle soul. His unique talent was his ability to brighten any room with his presence, leaving a lasting positive impact on everyone he met.
Bobby was a true free spirit, embarking on numerous adventures as he lived in various parts of the country, from Florida to New Orleans to the Midwest & Vermont. His love for sailing and skiing was a testament to his adventurous nature, often found enjoying these activities with his family aboard his sailboat, Tasmanian Devils, or at his Sugarbush ski condo.
Bobby had a long career working in the automotive industry, including Moroso Performance Products and multiple car dealerships. Bobby was an avid car fan and had many cars including his Triumph TR3. Bobby was more interested in the experience of life and having fun all along the way. In the end, Bob struggled with his health, but always remained optimistic knowing that it was going to be a struggle. We will all miss his presence in our lives Bobby was loved by all that had the chance to spend time with him.
