Robin Lee Smith Marron, 65, of Orange, Connecticut, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, November 7, 2024. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held in the coming weeks.
Robin is survived by her mother, Patricia Smith; sisters, Michele Smith and Suzette Smith; brother, Rick Smith; daughter, Lindsey Shortell; son-in-law, Connor Shortell; grandchildren, Marlee, Cameron, and Wynn Shortell; and niece, Saron Smith-Hardin. She was predeceased by her father, Frederick Smith, and her fiancé, James Grosso.
Robin was a gifted art teacher, photographer, artist, and creator, who found joy in capturing moments, walking on the beach, and spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. Robin had a fun sense of humor and a strong faith that gave her strength and kept her grounded.
Robin had a generous heart and loved deeply. She cared tremendously for her family and friends and was always ready to support them. She was a bright light with a beautiful soul and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
