Sarah Jane Novak

Sarah Jane (Mercier) Novak passed away peacefully at home on April 18, 2025, with her devoted husband of 63 years, Len, by her side. Born in 1942 in her family home in Pawcatuck, Sarah graduated from Stonington High School in 1960 and married the love of her life, Leonard Novak Jr., in 1961.

Sarah built a successful career in sales, working with companies like Avon and Home Interiors, where her passion and personality shone through. She and Len shared a deep love for skiing and golfing, and cherished time spent at their second home, "The Sarah J," docked at Seaport Marine’s C Dock and Payne’s Dock on Block Island

 Sarah endured the heartbreaking loss of all three of her beloved sons - Lenny, Dean, and Corey. Despite this unimaginable grief, her strength and warmth continued to inspire those around her. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Len; her sister, Dottie of Naples, Florida; her grandchildren—Kaeli, Emily, Olivia, Julia, Sophia, Hunter, and Ainsley; her daughter-in-law, Jane; and her many loving nieces and nephews.
