Tribute

On Sunday, January 15, 2023, Stephen Lee Wrisley sadly passed away from a heart attack at the age of 45.

Stephen was born March 7, 1977 to Laura Wrisley in Cocoa Beach, Fl. They moved to Hayesville, NC when he was 2 and he grew up there. After his mother tragically passed when he was 14, he was raised by his grandparents, John and Josephine Wrisley.

He had a passion for art and dancing and loved to make new friends. He was a kind soul who always wanted to help where he could.

He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents. He is survived by his Aunt Elisabeth Magid and Uncle Hunter Wrisley and their children.

Services will be held at Good Shepherd Church in Hayesville on Saturday, February 4th at 11am.

He was always grateful for the kindness done to him and his wish was to pay it forward. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting people find others in need and help them in his memory.
