William Gordon (Bill/Fish) Troutman, 64, of Milford, CT sadly left us on November 8, 2023 surrounded by his loving family, both in body and spirit.
Bill attended Bunnell High School in Stratford, CT and worked for many years at Straton Industries as a specialized machinist. He enjoyed cooking for local charity events, fishing, and fixing things. He liked working with his hands. Over the years, he handmade furniture and other items for his family and friends. Bill will always be remembered for his gruff exterior persona with his warm tender side just beneath. His smile could melt your heart.
He was preceded in passing by his father, Joel Henry Troutman. He is survived by his mother, Diane Troutman of Stratford, CT. He leaves behind his three sisters, Teresa (Jim) Troutman-Vitko of CA, Kathleen Martin of CT, Cheryl (Jim) Ernst of FL, and his brother, Michael Troutman of CT. He also leaves three nieces, Elizabeth, Tara, Sierra, and two nephews, James and Christopher.
To honor Bill's memory, the family is holding a Memorial Service on November 18, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at the Stratford United Methodist Church, 2600 Main Street, Stratford, CT. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Stratford United Methodist Church. The Cremation Society of New England is honored to have been entrusted with William's final care and arrangements.
